Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) have to process sensory information continuously. They may struggle to filter out stimuli, resulting in heightened sensitivity to sounds, textures, visuals, and more. Due to the unique wiring of their brains, a different approach to education may be necessary.
Personal Attention
At our school, we prioritize personalized attention for our students, with small class sizes of no more than six children. We cater to different learning styles, passions, and sensory challenges. While welcoming children from diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds our school is founded on biblical Christian principles, including love, service, and integrity.
A different approach
We don’t follow traditional grading systems gone, instead, each student works at their own pace for an English (Cambridge). Our core subjects, such as Social Sciences and Science, are taught through a theme/ project-based approach.
Specialized teachers
Our teachers are trained to understand the unique experiences of our students, including Emotional Logic, Learning Styles, Personality, Sensory Processing, Dyslexia Support, Integrating Learning Therapy and working with 2E children. We offer a 5 day training program called “Wonderfully Made” (SACE, HPCSA, and NQF registration pending)
